Absences happen all the time.

With a full time job, and returning to school, I have a new aim in mind for myself: delete and/or retire =virdiaire for good, and re-create myself as another name, entirely brand new and unfamiliar in terms of style and creation of my works of art. With this mind set in store, not only will the art requests be completed sooner rather than later, but also, the style in which they will be done will be dramatically better for it.

Yes, I have been gone for a long time, and most probably assume I've vanished from the face of the planet. This is, however, not the case. In my own situation, I have grown to understand much more about myself and about what it is that I am seeking to make of life.

So, what is in store for me?

I have always been a major Final Fantasy VII fan, and a grand follower of the series of Final Fantasy. My love for the game is stronger than ever, and it is my accomplished dream to have a semi-comic based on a Final Fantasy genre published and approved from the creator(s) of Final Fantasy. This is my goal (one of them) within at least the next 10 years. I want this project and goal to be a great achievement, one that will push my boundaries, one that will enrich my life, and one that will allow me to share my take on the Final Fantasy story line(s) and let others see the world, possibly, as I see it. There's so many questions I have that are not answered about Final Fantasy (especially VII) and I do NOT intend on making up the answers with this project I have in mind. I simply wish to explore the world of Final Fantasy and bring together a community of similarly-linked minds to focus on the one great treasure that is Final Fantasy.

What else is on the menu?

Not only is this one of the few projects I am wishing to begin a lot of devotion and work into, but I also wish to get myself fully enveloped into a world I have created on my own and have it published for the comic lovers of the world. I have seen and read numerous genres, all ranging from comedy to horror to sensual to down-right uncalled for. I want to change from that entirely. I want to create something that no one would have ever thought of creating, or never thought would become something that someone would hold onto and cherish and want to know more and more about. This is another one of my goals. While I have limited resources to do this (namely my gaming rig and PhotoShop/Paint Shop) I am looking to add in traditional means, using but not limited to oil paints, charcoal paper/materials, all sorts of mediums to get these dreams materialized into reality. There are hundreds of people out there who probably wish to do the same things that I do, but wonder how they are even going to start. My way is simple. As any artist would, you have to collect all of your ideas into a rough draft(sketch) and see where this takes you. Make sure that ever small detail you think of is written down, not left to chance. Yes, it's time consuming, and it's a lot of hard work and a lot of creativity is involved, but a dedicated individual can do anything.

And from here?

This is where I say my goodbye from =virdiaire. I'll be here, but under a new name, new world, new everything. The style of my artwork that is seen here on =virdiaire will be much different, and will be more professionalized. My aim is to move away from traditional animation such as those on my profile and move into what could be considered realistic animation. You all know what this is if you have seen Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The form of animation in the movie is phenomenal, and I am always in awe as to how beautiful and captivating those graphics are. Nozue is probably one of the most respected CG animators I have come to know about and I love his talent. It goes without saying that Uematsu falls into the category of a world-renowned music creator. The moods are perfect, and I want to have that feel when you see a picture, and really feel captivated by it. There's so much to learn out there in the art world, and in the CG world, and I want to immerse myself into it heavily and learn it all. This is my ultimate goal in life. I know with a lot of support, lots of "you can do it!"'s and a great determination, it can become my reality, and for those of you who share the same idea/dream, I hope that you can succeed and make it real for yourselves.
